Multilingual header and footer

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, need help with multilingual setup.
I have built my website in two languages. Now I need to have two different header and footer in each language.
Has anyone a solution for this?
Do I have to code every block 'if site language is this show this elsewhere show this'...? :(

I found this very good & clear instructions:

So there is a way to switch every blocks locale. I'll try w this...
Hopefully upcoming Concrete5 version9 includes easier setup for multilingual needs.
