Parallax images are not responsive

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Site looks great on a computer, but the parallax background images are not scaling or rotating on tablets or phones. I have the milo-parallax custom class selected in the "Edit Area Design." Same issue happens on whichever page I am trying to use the effect on. Am I missing something?

You can view the site athttp://georgecrowder.com/

Thanks.

Hi Tim,

The parallax effect on images is automatically disabled in mobile and tablet devices because of the performance issues that would cause "choppy" movements or even crashing the user's browser application. Hope this helps with your question about the parallax effects.

Best Regards,
Neil

Thanks for the quick reply. I am guessing that with the way the custom template works in concrete5, there is no way to substitute a smaller, static image in its place for the smaller viewports?

Hi Tim,

Sorry for the very late reply, there are ways to replace the big image to the smaller ones so that the image/s in mobile view will be different but it would require a theme customization in order to achieve the one you mentioned.

If you're interested in us spending time working on your own install and customizing whatever code needs to be changed to make these work together, we can put together an estimate for that time.

My apologies we don't have an easier answer.

Best Regards,
Neil
