Hi There,

Sorry to hear you are having an issue with the filters.

Would it be possible to send me over an admin login and a link to your site please? I can then take a look at the settings etc which I can't do from the front end.

If it is possible can you send me the details in a private message as this support thread is publicly viewable.

Best regards

David

Hi Luke,

Thanks for the details.

I can see what is happening now, your topic names have brackets in them and as these names are used to form a HTML class name for use in the filter, they are failing as brackets in class names are not permitted. If you remove the brackets the filters should return to a working state again.

My apologies and sorry for any inconvenience, we will update the docs to let everyone know that they can only use a-z, numbers, and hyphens when naming topics.

If you have any further issues, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we will take a look for you.

Best regards

David

Hi David,

i pulled the brackets out and the filter is now going blank on all options except for the 'All' category so it's one step closer.

could there be an issue the the hyphen ?

Hi Luke,

Yes that would be it, something like "enterprise risk management ERM" Should work ok, due to the code we use to take the topic term and convert it into a HTML class we are limited in the formatting options.

I thought you would be able to use a hyphen, but the code adds its own hyphens when converting the topic name to a class, sorry about that.

Best regards
