The images in Modena are set to be responsive so they will resize to the size of their container, probably the most effective way to control the size of your images is to place them in a layout that is the size you wish the image to be.
The other option is to use the dimensions in the image block, by checking the "Constrain image size" box, but this will set the image to a fixed size and it will cease to be responsive to the screen size its on.
