Compatibility with C5 v8.4

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Cory,
I can see the Motif theme is listed as 5.7.1+, however can you confirm whether the Motif theme is fully compatible with v8 of C5 as well?

Thanks

I haven't tested it with 5.8 yet, but I have been told there is an issue with the WYSIWYG editor. I don't have an ETA on when that will be fixed, though.

Thanks Cory - so is 5.7.5.13 the best option to install the Motif theme?

Yes, that is the best option.

I have C5 v8.4.2 on server, and this theme is not editable with the newest version of C5. Everything works on sample site while browsing as it should, but you can not edit it at all. There comes broblems with Image Slider block, Text block, Image block and Customizing Theme (saving the changes doesn't work). Tested with Chrome and Safari browser.

I think I have to reinstall this theme with 5.7.5 as mentioned above.

That's correct. I have not had a chance to update this theme to work with 5.8.4 yet.

8.x has been out for nearly 2 years now. This is one of the best themes on the marketplace and it is completely unusable with the past year+ of c5 versions. Please fix this or pull it from the marketplace.

I do not have any plans to update it at this time. I am keeping it in the marketplace for anyone who happens to be running 5.7. I will happily give a refund (and have done so a few times) to anyone who purchases this for 5.8.
