Error when Customizing Color Schemes

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am getting an error when I attempt to change the Motif color scheme - I get the error regardless of how I attempt to make the change - If I select on of the preset color schemes - or if I attempt to assign my own. If I save the changes it diables the entire site - and the site only reports the error.

This is the error I get when I attempt to alter the color scheme in the customize design area:

Attached is a screenshot of the code error in the preview window - when I am adjusting the primary brand color to X (nothing) the same error is reported if I set the color to something else - additionaly, the error can not be corrected by setting the color scheme back to the original selection.

Strange, you're the first person to experience this issue. I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce it.

Yeah, that might be useful. Can you tell me step by step exactly what you did leading up to getting the error?

I did some searching, and it seems others have had this issue with other themes as well. The cause seems to be that there is not enough memory to parse the LESS to CSS properly. It may be that you need to contact your host and ask them to allocate more memory to PHP on your account. 128MB should suffice

I'm at a loss on this one. I've never seen this issue with the theme before. It looks like the PHP memory limit is high enough.

When I Googled "concrete5 ParseError: Unexpected input in main.less", I found that a few other people have had this issue with other themes, and the only cause mentioned was not enough memory.

I wonder if you've just reached your server's limit for what it can handle. Maybe you are running more than the server's resources are capable of handling. Have you tried setting up the site on a different server?

Hi,
I've checked the memory limit - it's at 256mb - so you're right it's not that.
I've just done a bunchperformance testing- the sites aren't getting any traffic, the sever has a plenty of resources available - during testing today your site is the only one that has been using any resources at all.
At least from the server side, it looks like there isn't anything going on that should effect it. The server is a high end arrangement not a budget one. :/

Anything else you can think of?
I would guess I can hard code the CSS, but it would save me considerable time if I didn't have to.

I'm going to try setting

I'm still at a loss on this one. You might try posting it in the general forums to see if anyone else has encountered this issue on servers like yours. I don't think it's an issue with the theme given that I am unable to reproduce it anywhere but your server. I wish I could be more help, but this one has me stumped.
