Navigation - Sub-navigation Tiers

Hi,

Thanks for creating the Neat theme. I am using it on a non-profit breast cancer site, but I hadn't realized before sending the theme to the client choose from that there isn't enough tiers in the navigation for sub pages going down more than 1 level. Is this something you think you might add to the theme?

e.g. They have:
health_info > breast_health > breast_health_facts > screening > understanding_mammograms

I have seen the megamenu option in another theme previous, but it was included. What would you suggest I do in this case to keep costs down?

Hi,

glad you put the theme to good use :)

The theme is based on Bootstrap, and Bootstrap 3 does not support multilevel dropdowns out of the box.

If you need so many levels in your navigation, then a megamenu would be a good option. There is a megamenu add-on in the marketplace if you want to have a look (though I havent tested it with the theme).

I'd love to add new options to the theme main navigation in the future (such as support for multilevel dropdowns), tough I'm not sure when I'll have the time.

In the meantime, a quick solution would be to add the following custom CSS:

.open .dropdown-menu .dropdown-menu {
    display: block;
    position: relative;
    border: none;
    box-shadow: none;
    font-size: 94%;
    padding-left: 20px;
}


(You simply need to go to Design -> Customize, and paste the code into the "Custom CSS" field)

This should force all submenus to show (slightly indented to the right).
