Adding Blog/Blog_Entry page types

Permalink Browser Info Environment
When I installed C5, I did not use sample content. Now when I install the theme, there are no blog-related page types available. (See attached of what is available). Where do I go to get the blog related page types and how should I best add them back in?

Go to "dashboard > pages and themes > themes" in your themes menu, click on "inspect" next to your themes Icon, you should see a screen listing all your page types, some will have a ticked boxed next to them, these are the ones that are currently not installed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "ok" those pages will now install.

Thanks. That added the page type. Still can't get the tags block, etc. Thought I was saving time by not adding the sample content.

Hi, yes, sorry to say the sample content, is a bit misleading by its name, I wish Concrete5 would remove the option to install without it, as its actually a lot easier to set up a site with it, than without it.

If you add the blocks back in, you can at least pick up from the video docs from that point. if you get ultra stuck just give me a shout, I am knocking off for the night now, but I will grab any messages first thing tomorrow.

Regards

Thanks for your help. I've had issues in the past with the sample content disappearing from sight while still being on the page in other themes, which is why I typically do not install it. Adding blocks now.

Thanks again.
