Installation issues

Permalink Browser Info Environment
We purchased your theme previously and now newest version 2.3.0. We have a clean load of concrete 8.2.1. We upgraded the php version as well. We install to packages folder within our hosting account. After that when activating at extend concrete. we get errors, it loads but is buggy. We cannot add pages and only loads home page. Do we need to reload? we have combed through all of the information but can't seem to crack it.

It is an awesome theme but shouldn't be this troublesome to load. Any suggestions, instructions or let us know what we are doing incorrectly.

Thanks

Hi,
Did you install the theme with c5 sample content or in the bare c5 instance? If the later is your case, try installing it won an instance with c5 sample content.

Hi again,

Ok... so we activate element to be able to remove the prior load of pixel 2. We load a new load of Pixel into the packages folder on the server and then extract the files. We get the following:

Argument 1 passed to Concrete\Core\Attribute\Category\ExpressCategory::import() must be an instance of Concrete\Core\Entity\Attribute\Type, null given, called in /home4/kvomaodu/petknowledge.surfwebdomain.com/concrete/src/Import/Item/Express/Control/AttributeKeyControl.php on line 41

After all of this, the theme loads but is not right. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Joe,
If you install the theme on a clean version with core sample contents, the process should go smoothly. If you tried that and it didn't work, send me your site credentials via private msg and I will look into it.
Re your current site, the theme should be installed fully, yet the importer couldn't finish creating all Pixel sample pages in your site.

Hi and thanks for the assistance,

Ok. cleaned everything and loading clean new version of 8.2.1. Once that is complete we will load Pixel2 using sample content. I will send additional email with login to cpanel and C5 if this doesn't work.

Thanks again

Hi again,

More info. We then go to activate pixel. It has the files in C5 but if you try to go to pages, we get this:

Call to a member function getURL() on null

Thanks

Hi,
It seems the problem is your server "sql-mode". Check this topic and see whether or not it solve the issue.

Plz, come back to me if it didn't fix it.
Cheers,
