Sticky Nav below top slider

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,

Looking at installing theme for new site and wanted to know if the sticky Nav bar can start below the first slider so that first slide is only logo, then scroll down and nav sticks to top of 2nd slide?

Cheers.

Could you provide me with a sample link of what you have in mind?

Hello,

This is the basic idea we were looking for with the pixel theme.

This is the closest thing you can make with Pixel. Still, the navigation stands on top of the slider.

Thank you for your reply. I have installed your theme onto our site and have a few questions.

Is the whale slider configured to resize images? I have put our logo into one of the slides and cannot get it displaying correctly.

Also, how can i get the nav bar on the home page to the same configuration as the starting page-home 1?

Cheers.

1. No. The images are not cut in any way. Yet when you specify height, some part of an image might become hidden to achieve that specified height. So by tweaking the height, you might regain those hidden sections.
2. You can install the theme with sample contents and imitate all settings of that page/block for your own page. Or duplicate that page and use it as a starting point.
Briefly, that page uses a full-screen slider combined with 'Transparent' header type and 'Style 4: Border' navigation style.

Thank you for your reply.

I would like to use the whale slider as a full screen image. Is there anything i can add to css for the whale slider to automatically resize an uploaded image to fit fullscreen? and then have that true for mobile devices as well?

The problem i have is no matter what size (in pixels) i set an image to, when i upload the different sized images and put them in the whale slider they all look the same. The image is very large and only partially visible.

Did you check the 'FULLSCREEN' in the 'Options' tab? (attached screenshot)

Yes full screen is checked. I have attached a screen shot of the home page as it looks at the moment and the options of the whale slider. I have also attached a screen shot of what the picture is supposed to look like.

Maybe i need to attack this in a different way...

In other themes i have used before i have been able to add a custom class to sliders and other blocks that would change the alignment of images. For instance, i could add the words "center-image" into the css settings of a block and it would center the image inside the block. Is there a way of doing this in pixel? That way i could place our logo in an image block or slider and have the logo centered in that block regardless of its size. Thoughts?

Hi,
I don't think you need any custom CSS, as I guess there is something wrong with your settings. You can send me your site URL/Credentials via private msg and I will look into it.
And you can add your custom CSS rules into a file designed for these purposes at the theme. For more info on this file check Instructions Page #18.

Hi,
Check the page at '/hold-1/pages/home-1'. It should be what you have in mind.
