just installed the theme, but only have one pagetype?

I have the same problem. I want to use full page or three column and all it gives is a right-sidebar. Please help.
Think I found the answer:
On the Dashboard go to Themes and select Inspect. The different page types will be shown but some only have check marks. Click the Save button on the bottom of the page they will now work.
