demo view different from installed view...please help!

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello! I downloaded your template--looks awesome on the demo view, but when I added it to my fresh C5 install, it is really messed up. Would you please send me the full demo package, with all of your demo content and settings installed? I would really appreciate it, and thank you so much for such a great template!!

Define "messed up" :)

I install demo duplicates for $50 if that's something you're interested in, but I support my themes really well for free. I'm glad to help you through the site. I also recommend clean installs, then put your own content in there.

I apologize, I did not in any way mean your template was messed up-hope that's not what I implied. I meant, on a fresh C5 install, I downloaded your theme, and activated it as the default; however it looks nothing like yours. I was just wondering if you had a working full version (like your demo) that I can install and replace content. I guess to make more sense of what I am saying, can I have a copy of the entire dir. at "http://rigid.isitvivid.com/rigid-light/" ? That would help me make better sense of how you layed everything out, etc. Thank you so much-this is def. the best looking theme on the marketplace right now!

ooops! I installed through my "connect to marketplace" tool while logged into the backend of my site. I think that is the issue...Should I just copy everything in the zip folder to my concrete install dir.? thanks!

That wouldn't screw up anything... that's the preferred method of downloading/installing a theme from the MP

Oh, I definitely understood what you meant. I was just wondering what was "messed up" about it. What's looking off to you?

Send me a link - I could always just look at it and say "oh, add this". By the way, this should really help for the most part:http://rigid.isitvivid.com/rigid-light/theme-help/...

Also, it'd require more than just a zip of the site, it'd require importing my database too. Are you comfortable with that? If you're not, I can't really support you much. I'll give you my site and sql file, but it comes as is. If you would like me to safely install it, I charge $50.

THank you so much for the help so far. If you want to have a look...here is the url of the proposed site:http://software.embirk.com. I am very comfortable with inporting/exporting databases, etc. I know that will require your file tree and a sql dump of the tables for your install. I would just replace the tables, not the db name. If it's not a big deal, I would really appreciate that...if it cannot be resolved another way...and again, your template rocks!

If you install all the page types correctly (dashboard -> pages/themes -> inspect rigid light -> install missing page types), and used the blocks as mentioned on the page I mentioned about, it'd really take you less than 30 minutes to get your site ready.

I'm heading out for a little bit, but in a couple hours I can export the DB and zip up the site. Shoot me an email at michael@isitvivid.com.
