I've bought this again. Is there a way to see this template done? I can't do some of the things it shows. Like under neath the image slider. I don't know what those are. Can you help me build that here? Or explain how?

Also, down at the bottom there are parts I don't understand either. The concrete lab templates let you see the working template and Then I can see how it works to build my website according to the template. There is not enough documentation to build the parts if you don't know how.

Also, on the interior pages. Is there a way to remove the page name in the image bar?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi,

This theme comes with its own content to help users understand and play around with the elements. Upon installing the theme it will ask you to swap content, were you able to do this?

The page-title is predefined in the page type but can be easily be removed via CSS. Please let me know if you want this remove so I can guide you.

I apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered while using this theme but hopefully when you install the sample content, everything would be easier to understand.

Please let me now if you need further assistance.

Regards.

Every time I download any theme in concrete5, they are always blank. And I have to fill the spots in. There is no finished prototype for me to see. : (

Can i see one? Otherwise I can't design according to it. Plus I've already started the new site I'm working on so I don't want to replace the content now or I'll have to start from scratch. There should be a place I can go to login and see it as if I'm editing my own website. I can do this with a few other templates.

Also, yes, if you could help me remove that via CSS that would be wonderful.

Here is a sample look at the site I'm building. I can't get those three images to do anything else than that. Regardless of putting in a image changer above it for now. And they are spread apart from each other and the sides are not flush. I had the same problem with the last client i used this template for. Can you help out here?

I've attached the image of the template area I would like it to look like.

Thanks. Glenn

Hi,

Try creating a dummy concrete5 locally and install the stride theme. When it asks to install/swap contents choose YES. See attached image of the content swap page. Now, you have a prototype of the stride site and play around with it to learn how it was created.

To remove the page-title via css put your site on edit mode then click settings. Then design -> customization -> custom css. Paste this:
#wrapper #page-title{
 display:none;
}

When saving it will ask you if it will apply the css to the entire site or just this page. Choose the one you prefer.

Those 3 images are suppose to be a pagelist block and using a specific custom template to achieve that type of design. Hopefully you can create a dummy site with sample content you can play around with.

Let me know if you need more help.

Regards.

Thanks for all your help in this. It’s woking nicer now. Only a few things.
Sometimes I notice that when you want to add blocks, the whole area disappears. Is this something that is a bug?

The second thing is, is there a way to change the line color on the mobile version of it between the navigation? It always comes up as orange and sort of looks like a sore thumb in the color schemes I pick for clients.

Thanks,

Glenn.

Hi Glenn,

Usually when you drag blocks to an area Concrete5 gets a little bit glitchy. What I normally do is click on the area and select add block option from there.

Can you provide me a screenshot of where that part of the nav is? Once you do, I can release a version with that para customizable.

Thanks and regards.
