Setup

Once you have installed the theme package, you will need to activate it to use it on your site. Go to the Themes page in the Dashboard and click on "Activate" next to the theme. Next you will need to add all of the Page Types that the theme supports. You can do this by clicking on "Inspect" next to the theme, and then make sure all the checkboxes are checked and then click on "Ok", if the Page Types already exist, then there will not be any checkboxes. Now, to set up the Home page, go to the Home page and select "Design" from the "Edit" dropdown, and make sure you select "Home" for the page type.

Logo

The Logo is Global Area for the theme, so any block you add here will show up on every page. You can either add a content block with an h1 tag or a image block with your logo.

Menu

The menu is also a Global Area, so you only need to add the menu block once and it will show up on every page of your site. To get started you can just add an autonav block with the default settings. If you want to use the built-in dropdown menu, you just need to change a few settings for the autonav block. Set the "Sub Pages to Display" to "Display all." and set the "Sub-Page Levels" option to "Display a custom amount." and finally set the "levels" to "1".

Featured Area

If you wish to use the built-in slider, make sure you are using the "Home" page type, and then from the File Manager add the images that you want to use to the "Home Slider" set. The images should all be the same size for best results, the dimensions of the images on the demo site are 920x380. You will need to add the "Home Slider" set if it doesn't exist, if you don't add the set then the built-in slider will not show. Instead there will be an area where you can add an image, a different slider block, or any other content. If you are using the built-in slider and want to use captions for your images, go to the File Manager and click on the image, and then go to "Properties". Under the "Other Properties" section there should be two properties, "Caption Title" and "Caption Text", click on the appropriate property and a text field will show up and once you are finished editing, click the button to the right of the field to save your changes, and that's it.
