Content Width

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
I am new to concrete 5.7, I decided that supermint 3 looks a good contender to upgrade my website,
I have installed in xampp supermint 3
I am baffled as to the content width,
adding a page type (blank/blog/portfolio etc) ,
changing the page template of that page type in design/composer
no settings I can find to alter content width,
the header is constricted to this small size
site is set to responsive
if the supermint3 homepage has roughly 1000px content width then i only have 700

please help !!!!

otherwise so far so good, page lists seem nice

Basically the sitewide navigation and corresponding main area are too narrow,
I am desperate for a solution to this as I am against thew clock

Many thanks

However I have now lost the display of thumbnails on page lists,
any reason this may happen ??

So my current dilema, which is still kind of related erm
I read in the documentation that the mmenu can display the site logo,
I have added in stacks and blocks to site logo an image file but no image ?
where or how is this shown, also the background colour of the mmenu, how to change this,

Thank you
Richard
