font color in slider?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
On the slider, even on the samples in the documentation the font color is white, which gets lots on lighter background pictures. Is there a way to change the font color on the image slider?
thanks.

Did you try to add a custom class 'area-white' that turn all text in black ?

I added area-white as a custom class to the slider and the container area but it doesn't change the color of the text on over the images on the slider.

OK, I think I see the issue. had to choose custom template of 'supermint simple' before the area-white worked.

Now I just need to resize the pictures. They were confined and showed better when there was no custom template applied and it was just the regular slider. Now they're too big, but the text is black. Although I removed the area-white class and the text is still black so I'm not sure of what's going on at this point.

Made progress.

The area-white has to be a custom class for the whole container area, then for the image slider block, the custom template of supermint simple has to be selected and then the text is black, but the pictures aren't constrained.
