Styling text in simple slider

Permalink Browser Info Environment
A really great future feature would be to be able to place the text of the simple slider into a block of colour or at least change its colour easily. As by it defaulting to white it nearly demands one uses an ugly filter on many images.
Is this an option I am missing, is there a relevant css file I should be looking into to do this?
Thanks for any and all input

Other wise a super easy theme to work with, I will review after I have completed various pages, so far so good.

Hi,

Thank you for message.
Why you don't use a colored png as image ?

Basically if we could set a background color for the text easily. Then we would not have to apply a dark filter to the header image. This is a pretty common practice with a variety of sliders, borders, backgrounds etc
I attached a very quick and dirty image example but perhaps it explains better. Its not a website breaking missing feature, just something that would be great to have. Most notable as we wont need to "dull" the entire header image to keep text legible.

Understandable, thanks for the awesome theme. I will await that feature in a future update.
