Hey,
I took your template tonight, but when I wanted to change the colors I found out that this is not possible at all, you could only customize the colors of the buttons. The question is that you can not adjust the black / gray color? If this is possible then I soon get to know how to do it.

This theme is quite old and this functionality is not built in to editable through the control panel.
Do you have any css skills?
In the Design panel there's a section where you can enter "Custom CSS"
Enter in the new styles in this section and save and they will over-ride the CSS in the theme. You may need to use the
!important
