Currently can't update any CSS

Having a very frustrating time trying to edit the CSS on this theme. I don't pretend to be a great expert (or fan) of .less files as they seem to work in a weird way and you can't see which line you are supposed to edit the file from Firebug.
The file seems to be stored in the cache files/vedana/cache/main.css. However if I change this nothing happens - if I change the css/main.less this doesn't work either.
Have turned off all the necessary caches - I just need to get on with my workflow by change the CSS and can't see a way. Could you please give me the correct instructions as to how to do this or I'm afraid I'm going to need to ask for a refund as this is taking way too much time....

It seems that you want to change link style.

Hover the Area or only the block you want to edit, click on to edit custom design & template and from the first icon you will change link color !

Hi - thanks for this I get that you can do that but I really need to be able to get hold of the code. I would like to assign a class to the block eg .redBlock and then adjust the code in the css then I can make the changes all at once provided they all have the same CSS. This is the way I like to work as it saves time in the long run. Surely there must be a way of saving code - could you let me know what I need to do please?

Almost all theme from the marketplace are build as Anitya because it's the COncrete5 way to build theme with CSS.
As you see, all css are in LESS into css/build/xxxx.less
All these files are classified to quicly find wich edit.
One edit made, you will not make Anitya update, all wil be lost.
What are you searching to change ?
