I want to create a slide show at the top of the page?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
My images are getting cropped showing only the top of the picture in internet explorer. looks great on my phone. I have tried in photoshop to make the image 1632x1090 and 1920x1282 They started 3000x3000 looks like I don't have the size expected for the slide show on the desktop to show properly.
What am I doing wrong? What size should it be? w/h DPI?
Thanks

The built-in block is not responsive. YOu will need to use a addon likehttps://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/easy-image-slider-and-c...

I'm sorry about this.

Oh my that looks complicated will I be able to place the addon at the top on my page where I want it? Is there any image size that I can use that will display properly on the desktop?
Is there a way to have the current slider only show up on the mobile version and not on the desktop?
Thanks

If I had known it would cost me $60 to get this site up with a responsive slider I would have chosen a different theme... Besides spending another $20 is there another solution to get the pics to show properly on a Desktop?
Thanks

Why you don't try to create a image at 1920x400px and set the height of the slider at 400px ?

It is not possible yet to change the default height in Vedana. I will think about.
