Blog Page Type

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am using your Venture theme and want to add a blog. How do I best do that? I see the blog page type but that does not seem to be easy to add posts. Is there instructions somewhere or do you have an add on?

To use the blog page type in any theme simply select the blog entry page type when creating a new page. This is simply a page type and not an out of the box blog.

I would like to verify a question... does venture come with it's own "Blog Page" type? I find the other Venture page types... but do not find a "blog" page type listed at all in my Dash Board Page Type listings. Thanks.

Hi there,

Venture has a blog_entry page type available. If you can not see this then go to dashboard > themes and click 'inspect' next to the Venture theme. You should then be able to add the page type from there.
