File Manager Upload and Browse Missing

No browse or update in File Manager.

Hi Everyone. I have been putting together my C5 site and as usual got racing along with the excitement. I have about ten pages with quite varied content so I do not want to do a re-install and risk more problems unless I have to. No idea when this started but I had been testing out a bunch of video options.

Any help would surely be appreciated...

Do you mean you can't upload files? The 'Choose File', 'Upload File' and 'Upload Multiple' buttons are missing? If that is the case then-

Go to Dashboard >> System and Settings >> Permissions & Access>> Allowed File Types... and see if there are any filetypes listed; if not, then add the following filetypes -

flv, jpg, gif, jpeg, ico, docx, xla, png, psd, swf, doc, txt, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, tiff, rtf, m4a, mov, wmv, mpeg, mpg, wav, avi, m4v, mp4, mp3, qt, ppt, pptx, kml, xml

Thank you so much! I just got back from a walk, saw your response, and 20 seconds later it is all good to go!

I can't understand how they disappeared, though? I am new to C5 and I don't believe I have ever clicked on that link. Oh well, everything is great. Trying to find a way to put a good video player on line now. Really enjoying the learning and I hope I can give back as I get to know my way around.

Thanks again,

Radigan

Did you by any chance install any add-ons recently? Like for HTML5 video/audio?

Just for the record, this happened to us recently. Same thing as the OP, we found the allowed file types had been emptied out. The add-on we installed was HTML5Musichttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/html5-music/...
