I need the same thing, just a simple transition, even without a fade.

Where do we do this? The only animation preset option I have is Random, and I do not see anywhere to set the number of slices and rows.

Hello,

Could someone please show me how to get a "slow" fade transition effect. Or is this possible? Everything I try in the manage custom presets gives me an abrupt immediate change between images.

I am probably just missing something simple that I have been looking at all along. :)

Thank you much!

Hi,

they are a known issue when a CSS bootstrap librairie is loaded in the same time as the browser. Is it you case ?

I don't think that is the case. Just so you know, I consider myself a beginner & do not code. This is only the second website I have worked on with C5.

I am just pulling simple JPEG images from a file set. Not sure what a CSS bootstrap library is but I don't think that is the case here.

I was just looking for instructions on how to get a slow dissolve fade & then re-materialize of the next image. Maybe this slider is not built for that.

See video of what I am seeinghttp://screencast.com/t/QIVMpbb4mIns... & also attached screen shot of my settings for fade in custom preset.

If this slider does not support the fade I was hoping for, that is okay. I will use slices instead for my second choice.

Thank you very much.

I am having this same issue. No actual fade effect between any transitions. This is only happening on a new install of the silence theme and advanced slider. An older site build with the same tools is displaying the fade transitions correctly.

Ok. I've changed it to slide at the moment. For the life of me I can't get fade working.

Hi Seb,

I PM'd you about this and then found this thread. Did you ever fix this?, I still want to use the Advanced Slider rather than jumping ship on another just yet.

If you have the solution after earlier this year that would be appreciated.

I tried the 'decrease the number of slices to 1' and that had no effect.

Thanks

Unfortunately, I had a deadline to meet and ended up using http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/flexslider/... for the fade effect I was looking for. I am sure there are other alternatives as well.

I am also wondering if this ever got answered...I have tried all sorts of settings in the Silence theme, but there is no fade option, which is what I really wanted for my site. If this is not fixable, is there a way to get a refund on just that one add-on, so I can choose another slider that does have this functionality?

For one particular slider ALL I need is a nice, slow fade.

Has this been answered?

Please help.

Can anyone recommend another slider for this?
