This is more of a Google Analytics issue than with the Ad Server - The method of redirection used by the click-counter in this add-on does not track as a referral in Advertiser's Google Analytics accounts. This was causing misunderstandings as my client would report 300 click thrus to an advertiser, and the advertiser would see only a few referrals in their Google Analytics reports.
In packages > advertisement > blocks > advertisement > tools > ad_click.php
I tried an alternate redirect method by changing line 11 from header("Location: ".$a->getUrl());
to echo'<meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url='.$a->getUrl().'">';
and Google Analytics now tracks clicks from ads as referrals.
