Can it be stopped once started?

Permalink Browser Info Environment

I am running an import but it seems to be hanging and the site is unresponsive. Can the import be aborted once started somehow?

The only way to stop it would be to kill off the PHP process that's running on the server. That's rather brutal though and could leave you with some inconsistent data. You could try closing the browser, but that doesn't always stop the server process running once it's been launched.

How large is your data set, i.e. how many lines are in your file? Large data sets can sometimes take a while to run through - it's the nature of Concrete5/ecommerce/ADODB database layer unfortunately.

Thanks for getting back to me. I just left it running over night and it was ok, so not sure how long it took in the end.
