Edit mode and captioning

Permalink Browser Info Environment
This looks like a great add-on. I have a functionality question regarding its edit mode.

Is there a way to swap images that would be in this gallery add-on but also keep the original titles/captions from the image that is being swapped out? Let's say I had 10 images that were either placeholder or incorrect pics, but their titles and captions were correct. Could I just swap out the incorrect image? Or would I have to delete it and re-enter the title, captions and new image as a new entry?

This may be an odd demand, but I have a client that will be starting out with titles and captions first, then using placeholder images. Once they get their intend image, they would then swap it out, but the original captions and titles still there. There would be over 100 images in the gallery, so re-entering them be a pain.

Does this make sense? If it's not possible by default could it be an easy modification? Is there any other add-on galleries that can do this? Yours is so far perfect in terms of the slide show functionality and grid thumbnail layout.

Thanks!

Hi,
Unfortunately this addon does not do what you're asking. Your request does make perfect sense to me, but it's not something that most people want so it wasn't built that way. If you are interested in paying for this custom functionality, please PM me or email me at concrete@jordanlev.com to discuss further.

Thanks.
