Javascript error

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have been using this with 5.4.2.2 and now, I uploaded a block and added some images and they only display in an extra window opened by explorer. Then, when When I try to edit the page, it won't let me and comes up with this javascript error in edit mode? Any ideas as to why? I haven't changed my version or upgraded anything.

Sorry you're having problems with this. Can you please tell me which version of the addon you're using? If I know that I can do some testing and get back to you with some details (and hopefully a fix) tomorrow morning.

Thanks,
Jordan

I am using the last version compatible with 5.4.2.0 - the one before the one for the latest version of C5 I think its 1.64. If you look at this page:-

http://www.louthscooterists.co.uk/index.php/what-happened-and-when/...

Although you can't see it as it won't display the images, there is a small gallery of two images. And below the second paragraph there are a handful of images in another gallery these don't display in a light-box any more.

Biggest issue is that I simply cannot edit the page at all. I would just remove the galleries, but I am not able to.

Hi,
Sorry for the delay.

It looks like you have both Deluxe Image Gallery and Sortable Fancybox Gallery on the same page -- this will unfortunately cause javascript conflicts because they both use the same "Fancybox" code (and there's no way in Concrete5 to tell them to share the same one -- although this will hopefully be fixed in a future release).

For the time being, I think you could uninstall the Sortable Fancybox Gallery addon via the dashboard, which will remove it from all the pages it's on -- then you'd be able to go to that page and edit it further.
The only danger in this is that it will remove *every* block of that type (that is, every "Sortable Fancybox Gallery" block you have on every page in your site) -- so if you have that in more places than just this page, you'll want to change those over to Deluxe Image Gallery blocks instead.

Let me know if this doesn't make sense or if you'd like further assistance with it.
