Have deleted blocks from database but can't create another using the same name.
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi There,
Firstly, I'm new to Concrete5 but this seems like a really useful add-on - nice work!
Secondly, I've removed two blocks from the C5 backend, then gone to the database and removed the blocks as described in the help (btMyBlockHandle).
But when I create a new block with the same name, I get an error stating that it already exists - I've cleared the cache but not sure what else to try. Can you edit an existing block or do you always have to delete it and start again?
Also, can Designer Content not insert any image size at all? I'm experimenting with fluid layouts and would like to resize the images using CSS.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Ben

2) You need to uninstall the block from Dashboard -> Add Functionality, and remove the block's directory in YOURSITE/blocks/, and delete the database table. But really it's usually not worth the trouble and you can just give it a different handle (the handle is only used internally in code so it doesn't even really matter -- the name can be the still be the same as it was).
3) If you leave the width/height fields blank when creating the block, then designer content will not resize the image -- but it will put the image's width and height into the <img> tag it outputs. If you want to change this, just create the block without the width/height fields filled out, then after you've created the block, go to its directory and edit the "view.php" file, find the <img> tags, and delete the width and height attributes from there.
Hope that helps!
