Nothing appears after installation
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I’m running Concrete 5.6.0.2 and have just installed Designer Content 3.1, and I see the link in the “Blocks and Stacks” section of the dashboard (without icon in front, though?) but when I click it all I get is an empty admin interface (i. e. the toolbar is there but no window open; it is as if I had closed the dashboard). I have no server errors in the error log, it doesn’t show any PHP error message, and looking at the HTML source code I see that everything is rendered well until the end (the closing html tag) but with an empty container.
What’s wrong?

Thanks Jordan. I’ve updated the package but hasn’t changed anything (except the icon being shown in the list). Still just a blank admin page. Are you able to reproduce this?
No I cannot reproduce it. Try uninstalling Designer Content, then clear your site cache via the dashboard, then reinstall. Also turn on error reporting in the dashboard, and see if you're getting errors on that page.

Thanks, man, completely uninstalling and reinstalling it with cleared cache did the trick (although the styling seems to be a little off – as if no CSS is applied (but not everywhere either as I see a designer content UI stylesheet there).
Strange. Are you using any other kind of addon that alters dashboard styles (for example, dashboard maximizer or classic dashboard)?
Might also try clearing your browser cache (not the c5 cache).

No, I’m not using anything that alters the dashboard, I’ve cleared my cache and this is what this add-on’s page looks like (see attached).
The links being brown and green is my personal browser setting (imagine them being blue and violet as is usually the default), and it generally looks different from the other interface elements. I see *some* styling applied, though (through the designer content UI CSS file), so it might be that this is totally normal. But to me it looks kind of unfinished and not as polished as I’m used to from C5.

That is what the dashboard interface is supposed to look like -- I am a minimalist :)
I made that before the 5.5 dashboard overhaul. It definitely looks a bit out of place now, but I have very little spare time these days and making it look better is low on my todo list.
Best,
Jordan

OK, just thought I’d mention it. ;-)
Thanks anyway for your quick responses.

Sorry for the delay. I've just updated the addon to version 3.1.1, which should fix this problem. Try it out and let me know if that doesn't solve your issue.
