My Concrete5 website likes the Packages folder up in the Public html root. That's the only place where the "Add Functionality" panel will see the package to be installed.

Ok so I have Designer Content installed and I keep getting the:

" Warning: The blocks directory is not writeable. Blocks cannot be created from this page until permissions are changed on your server."

Mind you I have set anything ( practically) named "blocks" to full permissions as I have tried everything about 6-7-8 times and counting.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I assumed it was this directory:

public_html/concrete/blocks

right?

but it's still not working. ( and I uninstall - delete and then do the whole thing again between each try to make sure it's all updating)

Please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's just public_html/blocks that you need to set the permissions on (not public_html/concrete/blocks)

Hi Jordan,
Cool, my install does not have a " blocks " folder under public_html, but I'll create one - set the permissions and see what happens. I'll post back to say if it's a success.
thanks!
