Why Only One Instance of WYSIWYG Allowed

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I was wondering if someone can explain why only one instance of WYSIWYG editor is allowed when creating a controller using the Designer Content add-on? I want to modify the code in the generated controller folder to add an additional WYSIWYG editor but am wondering if there will be some unforeseen issue with this.

It's because there are some bugs in the C5 core system that cause multiple WYSIWYG editors to conflict with each other. One of these days I hope to fix this issue and submit a patch to the system, but haven't had the time yet. Sorry :(

That's a shame, I was looking for that as well.
