Download Dependancy
Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi Guy's
Can you advice me whether, based on a order attribute set by the customer i.e. v1, v2, v3, the download that is deployed can be controlled.
Let me explain better customer buy's product and requires the product for v1 of their software so the digital download deployed is for v1.
I ask this as I would like to have 1 product instead of 3 as the only difference between the products is the version supported.
I hope that made some sense!
Cheers
Justin

For example, you might add three new product attributes of the downloadable file variety, and give them the names OS X Version, Windows Version and Linux Version. Then on each product with a downloadable file, specify different files for each attribute. When purchased, all of those files will be displayed for download, and added to the email that gets sent out.
IMPORTANT: You should update your digital download add-on to 1.0.3, which I just posted. This fixes a bug in the display where, if you specify three downloads, they didn't have proper titles, instead they just show the name of the product that was purchased. 1.0.3 should also show the name of the product attribute.
