Customization Document Library Add-on

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,

i was already in contact with Andrew via email and he told me to post my questions here.

we would need a customized version of the document library add-on. needed features would be:

• Custom file attribute: we would only need one (Domain), but is it possible to add one primary domain and zero to many secondary domains with only one custom file attribute or how else would this work? The display of primary and secondary domain should be in the same column but distinctively marked

• The demo library only has one search field. Is it possible to get more fields on the main page (we don't want another click on advanced search)? We would need the following fields:

o Date range (like the one in the advanced search)
o Tags
o Custom file attribute (Domain) search
o Full text search (see below)
o The standard title search field should not be available.

Combining the search options should also be possible.

• The full text search field should search the full text of pdf files in the library. Can you implement this for us or if that is not possible, how easy would it be to combine the search field with a third party service/application (ex: apache solr) function provided in php?

• The display of available documents should have a specific column order:

o Tags
o Custom file attribute (Domain)
o Title
o Date
o Direct download symbol

thanks in advance and i'm looking forward to hearing from you.

regards
Patrick

This sounds like a few days work at a glance.

Can you explain to me more what you're trying to achieve with the "domain" thing? Perhaps its just because "domain" means a lot of things to me already, but whats the data going in there and why do you need 1-n of them? Whats the goal here?
