Editing easy accordion css

I am attempting to modify the css for easy accordion within a version of the Slate theme, but none of my edits have any effect.

I would like to change the font on the easy accordian tabs but I'm not a programmer. I thought everything in Silence theme was customizable.
Is the only way to do this is by changing code?

But any changes that I make to this file has no affect.
