checkout/payment/form/ page not found - cannot checkout after installing plugin
after I installed the stripe payment plugin I can no longer complete the checkout - it says that the page cannot be found for the payment/form - even though I have a payment enabled. I have not yet enabled stripe.

Just some additional information. After trying to checkout again after getting the 404 on the payment/form page, the entire checkout now has 404'd. When trying to checkout I get a page not found at checkout/
Alright. I've concluded that this plugin did not cause the issue. The site payment form doesnt work even after re-installing a blank site and only the ecommerce plugin. Meaning that the ecommerce plugin is the cause. Sorry for bothering you. This support thread can be closed / deleted / nuked / removed from existence.
Hi there,
well I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with eCommerce in general. I've used eCommerce a lot, but I've not seen that issue with a missing checkout, sorry.
Anytime you get 404 messages on a site unexpectedly, it's worth check whether you have Mod Security installed on your server and whether it is triggering a rule when it shouldn't.
The checkout pages are single pages which you should see in the sitemap, so you could also confirm whether the pages actually exist or whether for some reason they weren't set up correctly.
You may need to ask about this in the eCommerce add-on support section (look out too for other posts where people have already had the same problem).
