UK UPS User

HI,

I have a customer that has this installed and a UPS account set up but when I process an order all I get is the following

"Shipping Method
Shipping is Unavailable. We currently only ship within the UK."

All country settings are set to UK in both concrete, the addon and UPS.

From the logs

An error occured while trying to obtain UPS shipping rates for order #220 -
---> error #110308: Invalid or unsupported origin country code

This issue has been resolved by version 1.4.1 of the UPS Add-on. An email with details was sent to iang2911.

An error occured while trying to obtain UPS shipping rates for order #228 -
---> error #110208: Missing/Illegal ShipTo/Address/CountryCode

The latest version (1.4.2), which I just uploaded should fix this. If not, please include the origin postal code and a sample destination address that isn't working.

Thanks,
Todd

Hi,

Here are the new errors as well as the post codes we are using

"An error occured while trying to obtain UPS shipping rates for order #236 -
---> error #111036: The maximum per package weight for the selected service from the selected country is 70 kg.

Postcode seems okay now.
But the FROM postcode is ML2 9EL
And the TO postcode was KA6 5EU

I checked my order weight in the dashboard. 360g."

We have de-selected using weights in the admin.

cheers,

Ian

HI,

Still Getting this error.

error #111036: The maximum per package weight for the selected service from the selected country is 70 kg.

I have ttried working around the weights but no joy, I have confirmed that we do not want to use this in UPS site.

Any Ideas?

This is probably happening because your Maximum Box Dimensions ("big box") are too large. The UPS API requires a weight for every package you want the rate for. Since the add-on can only guess what the rate of the "big box" is it uses a standard shipping ratio to compute a typical weight. If "big box" is very large it will have a computed weight greater than 70kg.

Thanks for the reply buddy but...

I have shipping dimensions switched off, I read your reply and decided to put in max dimensions anyway but no joy...

"error #111036: The maximum per package..."

I have attached a screenshot of the config

First, I found a bug in the "ship by weight" path that was causing the weight to be computed incorrectly in some cases. The fix is in 1.4.3.

Second, please note that bug reports should be going through the support forums that are set up for that purpose. I only just noticed that your original posting about the weight problem was on the 15th. My apologies for the late reply, but I don't monitor this public forum as frequently as the support forum. Please either use the support forum or PM me directly if you want a faster response.
