Email list signup not saving form data when adding to a page

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello, when I add a block and use the email list sign up the form auto populates as to what the parameters are. I hit save but the form dta is not saving tso it says (for example) "undefined" int he sighn up box instead of "enter your email address here". I go back into edit and re add all the field but again it is not saving.

Any idea how to get this fixed? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing. I even restored the sight to before I added it and tried again but the same thing is happening

How exactly did you install it? Automatically through the marketplace, or did you download the files and copy them to your server manually?

Automatically through the marketplace. The first time I used it, it worked fine. Since then it does not "save" that auto generated form data. I have found the file in ftp but I am very new to this.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response. I can't really say what the problem could be. Can you take a screenshot of where you're seeing the 'undefined' message?

Ty Jordan. The "undefined" was showing up in the email entry field instead of the "enter email address here" verbage. Also the send button was just a 1/4 of the size it should be so it did not say "send". The funny thing is it still works when an email address is entered. I ended up having a few other difficulties with the site and since am just getting started, I re-started the site with C5. It solved my issues. I will let you know if I have any other problems. Have a great day!
