Non-Dashboard Block For Form Results

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Does there exist somewhere a block type that can retrieve the contents of an Extended Form's submission for display and editing on an ordinary page of the web site rather than exclusively on the Dashboard? If not, do you have any particular advice on how I should go about creating one?

Here's the problem I'm trying to solve.

I have a number of Extended Forms on my site that work just fine. In one specific case we have a form whose purpose is to permit individual site members to submit the text of announcements/broadcasts that are sent via email to an outgoing-only email announcement list operated by our hosting company. The text of the messages must first be approved by an editor however, who in turn posts the content to the mailing list itself. At the moment he does this by copying and pasting the information from the Dashboard into a separate mailing list management interface in another application.

What the editors would prefer instead is to go to a page via which they could recall, and when necessary edit, the results of the form submissions -- after which they would click on a link or button that would accomplish the chore of posting to the mailing list. A one-stop-shop, so to speak.

I am faced with a choice between modifying the Dashboard panel to permit content editing or creating a custom block for use on an "ordinary" site page. I somehow suspect that creating the block will be the easier of the two approaches since the ability to alter the submitted form's results (e.g. spelling, wording, grammar) is essential. But as I have never done either, I'm wondering what you think or it. And I'm also curious whether there might be a yet another alternative that I haven't considered.
