Not confirmation message on screen after submit.

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am unable to see a confirmation of submission on screen after hitting the Submit button. The submission results are logged and the email is delivered but there is no visual cue for the user that the form has been submitted and we're getting multiple submissions when the user hit Submit repeatedly. Before I have the client pay for this, can we resolve this issue?

Hi,

Check if you are using an older version template.
While updating the addon there been some changes to the template (view) as well. If you are overriding this somewhere it could be that the message isn't shown any more.

Best,

You seem to have been partly right. Bought the addon, completely replaced what was there. Updated my template modifications and now the form hides itself when submitted. But the submit message still does not appear. Using the 'clean' template.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply! Had some time off :)

Found the issue!
On line 69 in the view.css in your template directory there is a line like:
.formidable .formidable_message{display:none;border:1px solid #CCC;-webkit-border-radius:5px;border-radius:5px;background-color:#FFC;color:#000;padding:8px;margin-bottom:20px;}

The "display:none;" should be removed.... Like this:
.formidable .formidable_message{border:1px solid #CCC;-webkit-border-radius:5px;border-radius:5px;background-color:#FFC;color:#000;padding:8px;margin-bottom:20px;}

That should work!

Best,

Corretje
