Says 1.1 is available, but package is still 1.0?

I have a client that has 1.0 installed and the Dashboard says 1.1 is available.

But, when I manually or otherwise grab the latest package, it still says 1.0 in controller.php and that a 1.1 update is available.

Please advise -- John
