contact form error messages translation

Hi I need to translate the error messages and submit button of my contact form into french.
is there a simple solution or do I need to get the translation manager add on?

This has to do with your translation files, you'll want to make sure that they include those phrases. (I believe those messages should appear in t() strings (a function that tells php to look for a translation).
