Error after updating to 5.6.3.4 when trying to create English language tree

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I created a new English language section and after trying to access it, I get the following error:
Error opening translation file ''.

It was working fine before with version 5.6.2.1.

Recreating the language tree does not help.

I think the problem is only with en_GB language.

I downloaded the language file from Transifex and added it to the /languages folder and it seems to fix the error.

I just run into the same problem when I upgraded from 5.6.3.2 to 5.6.3.4. My standard language is German.
What do you mean with "downloaded the language file form Transiflex"?

Hi!
I have this error after adding french to a 5.6.3.4-Site.
On transifex I downloaded the file "for_use_concrete5_core-dev-56_fr_FR.po" and with Poedit I saved it as .mo-File and renamed it fr_FR and placed it into /languages/fr_FR/LC_MESSAGES/messages.mo
unfortunately w/o success - Do you have any idea?...

* UPDATE *
I re-uploaded the multilingual folder to the server and the prob was gone....

Hi,
I had the same problem. "Error opening translation file ''. How did you fix it? I can not find anything to download from Transifex.

1. add the following folder: root: languages > en_GB > LC_MESSAGES
2. add the english language files attached.

this should fix it!

Nick

I got de_DE and fr_FR installed. In the language folder there is fr_FR -> MESSAGES -> messages.mo for both languages. I have added it for english (in vain I don´t use en). Any other suggestions?

Hi,
I made it like nickratering suggested:

1.add the following folder: root:languages > en_GB>LC_MESSAGES
2.add the english language files attached

Then create new language tree in concrete.

Best regards,
vthie
