Feature Request

I guess I should have looked this over more carefully before buying! I'd love for the functionality described, here, to be added. Can you PM me a price to mod your add-on to do this?

1. Improve the layout of the form submission. I have a VERY long application and the way it is displayed in the back end is almost impossible to read and requires a lot of horizontal scrolling! (see screenshot)

2. Can you create a searchable interface for the applicants (like the way you can search for job listings)? They really need to store applications for applicants, along with their resumes, and be able to search the database and bring up only the requested results (also to search by job applied to.)

Let me know -- I don't have a huge budget, but I may be able to swing some of this if it is not too wildly expensive!

Thanks,
Darren

I'm currently too busy to taking on new work (just started a new full time job this week as web development manager for musiciansfriend.com & music123.com), but I can point you in the right direction with these requests, so perhaps you or someone else could make the modifications. That said, this jobs package was just recently released, so if I get a number of people requesting similar improvements those ones are going to get my attention first once I do get some time in my schedule.

1) the job application form is just a standard form block. You can create a custom template block for this if you'd like, you can override the block itself, or you can replace it with one of the advanced form blocks that are in the marketplace.

2) this one is quite a bit more complex than the other, simply because the form block and reporting pages use so many database joins to pull off that kind of on-the-fly form creation. You're probably looking at about 10-30 hours of development time on this depending on the skill of the developer. That said, another option for your client is to use the excel export feature of the reporting section and handle the searching and filtering within the spreadsheet.

Thanks for the response! I'm going to try to use the Advanced Form and Data Display blocks -- any stumbling blocks I should look for?

Again, thank you for the response -- and good luck at the new job!!
