Combining Products

Is it possible to combine products so they show up as individual items in a PayPal cart? For example, I would have a subscription product and then an optional donation product, so people would have the ability to donate in addition to paying for their subscription.

No. There's no "cart" functionality.
I think a cart is out of this products scope, but if you can suggest a way to do something like this without explicit cart functionality, then I'd consider building it in.
