Select More than one set

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have downloaded this and started using it, and I like it in general, but I would like to see a few features added to it, if possible.

1) Allow selecting more than one set to be displayed.
2) Selectable file attributes to be displayed in the list, such as Description, Owner, etc.
3) Multi-page generation with option to choose how many per page.

What I find interesting about this add-on is that the list of files appears to get indexed and is searchable using the C5 search block which is very helpful.

For (3), my Front End List Magic addon works very well with list files from set.

Cheers for the feedback/ideas.

I may add features to this add-on at a later point, but I really intended it to be a very simple block, perhaps more of a starting point for customisation than anything else.

To address your points:
1) I've had this asked for in the past. When I built the block, there was already quite a few blocks on the marketplace that listed documents, so I really didn't want to 'step on peoples toes' by releasing the same functionality but free. A solution to this though is simply to create another fileset that includes all the files you want to list together, a superset if you like, and select that instead.

2) This is something that can be achieved by creating custom block templates. I did put a few comments into view.php and the custom template supplied, table_layout.php, to assist with this. I feel that when it comes to customisations like these, they are best handled in templates for ultimate flexibility. There are too many combinations of attributes, ordering and formatting to handle this on the block's front-end.

3) This is something I may add in the future, but again I think there are packages in the marketplace that do this. I also haven't had a case where I've wanted to paginate file lists myself yet. I'll be honest and say that I'm not a big fan of pagination, I feel that it's often unnecessary and overused. I don't ever mind long pages that I can easily search, but I get annoyed quickly having to click back and forth between pages to have to find something. I also think this may muck up the search-ability of the files and make things harder to bookmark. I'd personally rather split lists of files by purpose or date (by set), rather than a count. Just my opinion though.
