Hi Simon,

This bug was a known core search block bug in c5.4.2.1. I believe if you update to v5.4.2.2, this is fixed.

Again, this is an issue with the core C5 search block in 5.4.2.1. you will want to update.

Hi Chad,

Thanks for the response. However, C5 says we are up to date with version 5.4.2

Any ideas?

again Simon..this is not something I can fix. it doesn't have anything to do with my addon. This is an issue with the Core code search block highlightedMarkup method. it will be fixed in the next release of concrete5 I believe.

however, you can edit the searchblock view (or the blog search view) that you are using, and re-arrange the order of the truncation of the search results:

<div class="searchResult">
   <p>
   <?php  echo ($currentPageBody ? $currentPageBody .'<br />' : '')?>
   <?php  echo $tt->shortText($this->controller->highlightedMarkup($r->getDescription(),$query))?>
   <a href="<?php  echo $r->getPath(); ?>" class="pageLink"><?php  echo $this->controller->highlightedMarkup($r->getPath(),$query)?></a>
   </p>
</div>

I did make this correction to the blog search view that will be available next release. But this is not something I can do anything about regarding the standard search block view.
