Changing defaults for ProBlog Post page type

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Greetings,

When I change the defaults for the ProBlog Post page type, the new defaults only appear to take effect on new blog postings. Existing postings still use the former defaults.

Is this normal, or do I have something set up incorrectly?

Note: I'm using a pb_post.php file in /page_types (off the root), as I've customized this file a bit to match my site. Not sure if this plays into the issue.

Also, are blog posts actually stored as files somewhere, or simply as database records?

Thanks!

Bill

you need to click on the blocks in the defaults while in edit mode, and select "push to children" to update existing content.

Thanks! That was easy.

As you can see, I'm pretty new to C5. Still learning what are apparently "the basics". :)

Thanks for responding so quickly.
