Display Pro Blog List on home page but secure blog post to members only

Is there a way to lock down the blog posts but display their titles and descriptions on a public page? I need to show the Pro Blog List/Postings (Title and Description) on the home page for SEO purposes but make the content of the blog posting for members only. If it all costs, I do not want to have to enable advanced permissions.
