How to go back to the original template on blog display page?

Permalink Browser Info Environment
On the blog pagehttp://localhost/mysite/blog, where the blog posts are listed, I tried experimenting with the Custom Template on the blog post display section on the left. I selected a custom template from the dropdown and applied it. Now I want to go back to the original display layout and tried Micro Blog template but it does not have the blog post summary in it. If I select "None selected" from the custom template list, it keeps showing the template I first selected (the one with the date displayed in a speech balloon).

How do I go back to the original template?

make sure you have your site cache turned off whenever editing or making changes. Also, sometimes C5 edit mode does not clearly reflect the css change. So make sure you exit edit mode and refresh the page a couple times.
