I did a site that had 7 different blogs with ProBlog. We gave each separate it's own category. So, for instance, if you've got a blog for music - every post should be categorized as a music post and the same for Sports etc...
Then, using the ProBlog List you can display blogs from a specific category. This should accomplish what you want or at least get you headed in the right direction.
